Vocational Rehabiliation Offices
There are 35 offices in Michigan and currently there are no people with hearing loss represented on the advisory council. However, Bob Davis, director, has committed the agency to improving services to hard of hearing and deaf consumers by training counselors regarding the issues surrounding hearing loss. A consultant had been hired to direct training efforts and a contract established with the Divison on Deaf and Hard of Hearing to help provide training and support to staff.
