About Us
Hearing Loss Association of Michigan (formerly Michigan SHHH) was formed in 1995 to educate hard of hearing consumers about hearing loss and assistive technology for hard of hearing people, to advocate for hard of hearing people's needs and to offer support to individuals throughout the state. Programs include our free newsletter "The Mi-SHHH-ganian". The latest issue can be found under the information link to the left. We also host an annual Chapter Leaders workshop, bi-annual State Conference and Exposition and provide presentations by trained Hearing Technology Resource Specialists.

HLA-MI's board of trustees meets quarterly, usually in Lansing. Trustees must be a member of Hearing Loss Association of America and a resident of Michigan. Trustees serve as Chapter or At-Large representatives.
 
 
Trustees are elected each January and serve a three year
